Programme Review, Reports and Evaluation


REDP conducts regular review and monitor performance of the program at community, district and central level. The main purpose of such review is to appraise the activities completed; identify problems during implementation and possible solutions and draw a work plan for future activities.

Community level reviewing

Social mobilizer appointed in each CO attend the weekly meeting of the COs. If necessary, he/she can make suggestions in the meeting. In case, there is more than one meeting in a same day and he/she cannot attend a meeting, he/she can check the minute book later and make suggestions accordingly. It is mandatory for Community mobilizer to attend the meeting.

Coordinator of social mobilization team makes a regular field visit atleast once a month to the program site. During the visit, he/she can attend the CO’s meetings and make suggestions for resolving the problems and improvement.

District level reviewing

Every month a meeting between the DDC: REDS and all SOs staff in the district is organized. During the meeting, social mobiliser submit a report addressing the updates on the activities accomplished, problems identified and activities for the next month. DDC:REDS make suggestion on activities for the next month.

All SOs has to submit three copies of a monthly progress report prepared by social mobiliser. A copy of the report is submitted to REDP Office Kathmandu, DDC:REDS and to SOs itself.

Central level reviewing

A review meeting is organized every six months with all support organizations. It is mandatory for all member of the support organization to attend the meeting. This meeting can be arranged in the regional basis or in each program district. The meeting review the activities completed during the last six months and chalk out plans for in the next six months.

DDC: REDS has to submit tri-monthly (Four months) progress report of the program activities in the district to the REDP Office Kathmandu.
