GoN Subsidy For Micro Hydro Systems Development

  1. Upto 5 kw Micro Hydro System
    For the new installation, Rs. 8000 per household but not exceeding Rs. 65,000 per kW installed.

  2. From 5 to 500 kw Micro Hydro System
    1. For the new installation, Rs. 10,000 per household but not exceeding Rs. 85,000 per kW installed.
    2. For renovation of old installation, Rs. 10,000 per household increased but not exceeding Rs. 85,000 per kW incremental

  3. Improved Water Mill
    For the electrification, Rs. 4000 per household but not exceeding Rs. 40000 per kW installed.

  4. Transportation Subsidy
    1. Additional subsidy is provided for the transportation of electro-mechanical equipment and materials.
    2. For the renovation, the subsidy for the transportation of electro-mechanical equipment and materials will be provided at 50% of the transportation subsidy entitled to new system.
    3. The transportation subsidy:
    4. Rs. 3,000 per household for the location at distance more than 50 km. from the nearest motor-able road head.
    5. Rs. 1,200 per household for the location at distance from 25 to 50 km. from the nearest motor-able road head.
    6. No transportation subsidy for the location at distance less than 25 km. from the nearest motor-able road head.
